Skin Academy Launches Ink’d Range Into Europe

Skin Academy is delighted to announce we are launching one of our newest ranges into Europe.

The export team has secured a huge coup with two major listings for its new range of tattoo aftercare products, INK’D, which is now available in 450 Muller stores in Germany and 550 Etos stores in Holland.

Nick Wade, Export Sales Director for Skin Academy said: “A great deal of time, research and development has been spent on the new INK’D range and we are delighted with how the range has been received.  In fact, as we released our INK’D range to market, it very quickly reached the finals of the Pure Beauty Global Awards for Best Product Innovation, so we knew we had created a range that plugs a gap in the market and that would be of interest not just here in the UK but on an international scale too.”

The move into Germany and Holland sees both retailers stocking all three products in the range which includes a nourishing body oil, hydrating serum and daily moisturiser.

Nick added: “We wanted to develop a skincare range specifically targeting tattoos that is high quality but at an affordable price; one that refreshes, revitalises and protects the skin whilst making tattoos more vibrant and INK’D does just that.”

INK’D, which protects tattoos and provides essential natural vitamins to keep them looking vibrant and refreshed, is cruelty-free, paraben free and includes must-have ingredients of Coconut Oil, Shea Butter and Vitamin E which all work to condition and nourish the skin.

INK’D’s unique formulation in its moisturiser is one that also includes SPF 15 which protects the tattoo against sun exposure preventing the sun’s UV rays from fading the body art.

The launch in Europe follows a sustained period of growth for the firm. In 2018, the business saw retail sales rocket to more than £1.8 million and to further consolidate this growth, there is a rolling programme of investment into even more new products to be launched later this year.
