My tattoo has been on my wrist for almost 2 years now. In the beginning it was of course super dark, but over time I got the idea that it was already fading..
No less than 40% of people between 18 and 35 have a tattoo . So it’s time to develop something for it. The call was on Facebook: who wants to test tattoo care products? These will keep your tattoo beautiful for as long as possible. Of course I was super curious and I tested them after our vacation.
What makes your tattoo discolour?
There are several reasons why your tattoo may lose its intensity. Think of sunlight, but also bath and shower have an influence. You also have to deal with cell renewal and skin aging, which can affect the color, quality and durability.
Ink’D tattoo care line
By using the products of this line together, you retain the color. By adding a moisturizing serum, moisturizer with SPF 15 and a nourishing body lotion, the skin is nourished and hydrated. The products can be used for men and women!
You use the products twice a day for the best results. You rub it in until the product is completely withdrawn, but do not wash it off.
Three products have been released in the INK’D care line . These cost € 9.99 each and are exclusively available at Etos. Because you only use a small amount each time, you can use it for a very long time.
This care line contains a number of important products. For example, it contains natural coconut oil (not in the hydrating serum), but also shea butter and vitamin E.
The coconut oil has an antibacterial effect. It is also intensively nourishing. Shea butter provides hydration, suppleness of the skin and soothes irritations. Finally, vitamin E. This protects the skin against harmful external influences and prevents premature skin aging.
For me another advantage: the entire line is free from parabens!
Skinacademy INK’D hydrating serum (50 ml.)
This serum contains Sacha Inchi oil. This oil comes from the seeds of the South American Sacha Inchi shrub and has a high content of omega-3 fatty acids. This oil ensures optimum color retention. In addition, it contains glycerin, lecithin, vitamin C and seaweed extract. This serum has a glitter in it. Very nice so if you have a party.
Skin academy INK’D protecting daily moisturizer SPF 15 (100 ml)
This cream offers protection against UVA and UVB radiation by sun factor 15. This also contains the Sacha Inchi oil, but also panhtenol, bisabolol and allantoin. The skin is protected by the Tulsi extract (holy basil), green algae and milk thistle extract.
Skinacademy INK’D Nourishing Body oil (75 ml)
This oil provides a rich hydration and nutrition of the skin with tattoo (s). It contains a blend of sunflower, coconut, Sacha Inchi, vitamins C and E. The extract of the champagne leaf plant strengthens the natural structure in the skin.
Because I find it difficult to form an opinion in a short time, this is a temporary one. So far I am very satisfied with these products. The structures are very fine.
I actually think my tattoo looks a bit darker already. I would also get the products in the Etos, a good price – quality ratio as far as I am concerned.
For the time being, I am just passing through. Because I am very curious what the effect is if I use it for more than a few weeks.
